Located at the prestigious No. 303 Haibin North Road in Xiangzhou District, our story is rooted in the very meaning of our local name. In Chinese, Wanghai (望海) translates to “gazing at the sea,” and Lou (楼) signifies a “tower” or “pavilion.” For centuries, poets, scholars, and travelers have journeyed to Zhuhai’s shores to stand at the water’s edge, gazing out at the azure expanse to find clarity, inspiration, and peace. When we set out to create this property, our vision was to build a modern-day “Tower of Gazing at the Sea”—a sophisticated vantage point where the weary traveler could pause, look out over the breathtaking Xianglu Bay, and reconnect with the beauty of the natural world.

The journey to opening our doors in 2025 was marked by years of meticulous planning, architectural innovation, and environmental stewardship. We asked ourselves: How do we build a luxury resort that enhances the coastline rather than overshadowing it? The answer lay in harmony. We designed our estate to nestle gracefully against the verdant slopes of Shijing Mountain, allowing the architecture to follow the natural contours of the land. The result is an elegant, contemporary landmark that feels as though it has always belonged on this sacred stretch of Haibin North Road.
Crafting 263 Private Observatories
At the heart of our story is an unwavering commitment to the guest’s perspective. We believe that the ocean should not just be something you visit; it should be something you live with. This philosophy drove our bold architectural decision to design 263 exquisitely appointed guest rooms and suites, all of which are dedicated “All Sea-View” sanctuaries.
By elevating our living spaces across floors 6 through 18, we ensured that every single room serves as a private observatory. Through the use of expansive, floor-to-ceiling glass and intelligent, nature-inspired interior design, we have blurred the boundaries between the indoors and the outdoors, inviting the majesty of the sea directly into your living space.

A hotel’s story is also written in the memories shared around its tables. Our culinary narrative is anchored by Haiyuexuan, our signature all-day dining restaurant. The name itself evokes a sense of joy and gathering by the sea. We envisioned a space where the rich, historical flavors of Cantonese gastronomy could meet the vibrant, diverse tastes of the global traveler.
Sourcing the freshest ingredients from local waters and regional farms, our executive chefs have crafted a culinary journey that honors Zhuhai’s heritage as a historic fishing village while elevating it to a five-star, beachfront dining experience.
